After reading “Her Revival,” by Rachelle Burchett, I must say I was most definitely revived in my desire to be in the WORD and live out my faith in Christ. This book is a short read but packed with thought-provoking Christian literary value to guide the reader to dig deeper into Christ. Exercises entice you to examine your spiritual walk with Him and to desire a pure heart. My soul has been craving a closer relationship with the Father. My wilted spirit found solace in the pages of this book. I sought guidance, and Rachelle pointed me to the Bible to find just that.

Being Kingdom-minded is a theme of this book. It is very evident in the forward where readers are encouraged to “become undone in front of Him” and to be vulnerable to find the first feeling of God’s Love! From shopping the clearance rack to hitting every pothole; this book picks you up and pulls you through all the tumultuous trials on the road of life!

Rekindling our first love

An extraordinary little book explaining how we are much like a near-dead flower needing to be pruned; while helping us determine how we got to our point of utter despair. Rachelle follows that with a nudging lead to remember the beautiful feeling of our First Love. She’s teaching us why repentance is so important. She then instructs us to read His word; to realign our lives with His will and then play this record on repeat!

I can’t explain how bolstered my spirit is to seek renewal and rejuvenation in God’s Holy Word due to this remarkable book. Not only is the reading uplifting and encouraging but the exercises are very thought-provoking and guide readers to dig deeper into Christ. Thus helping the reader to be completely honest with themselves and God.  I’ve always heard that size doesn’t matter! I’m certain that’s true of “Her Revival” because it packs a mighty punch for only 57 pages. Rachelle did provide her salty little book but I would have gladly purchased it to read again and again. If you’re ready to read “Her Revival” you can purchase it here.
